Evercare Scholars—Helping the Best Minds Follow Their Hearts
At Evercare, we have 100,000 Reasons to Care. Along with celebrating the milestone of surpassing 100,000 members, we recently created the $100,000 Evercare Scholars program for nursing students. Evercare has committed to meeting the need for exceptional nurses head-on—because it will take both strong hearts and minds to ensure the well-being of older adults for years to come. The InnOvations Award
The annual InnOvations Award honors team members who have harnessed the power of their innovative spirit, creativity and customer focus to achieve very positive results for members, coworkers or the community at large. All full- and part-time employees are eligible to be nominated for this prestigious award.

American Medical Director Association (AMDA) Foundation Awards
Evercare has partnered with the AMDA Foundation on a new award program that recognizes the nation's top nursing facilities for implementing innovative programs to improve the quality of life for their residents. Read the full story (PDF 41.4 KB).

Alzheimer's Foundation Walk-a-Thon
Evercare has participated in the National Alzheimer's Foundation Walk-a-Thon since 2003.

In 2007, Evercare continued to increase individual and corporate participation in this important event by sponsoring respite tents in 10 of the Alzheimer Walk cities across the United States. Evercare clinician volunteers worked over 1,700 hours staffing the respite tents. Evercare also helped raise $288,000 for the Alzheimer's Foundation through 527 walkers on 26 teams, UnitedHealth Group Employee Giving Campaign contributions, and in-kind donations.
